LeBron James just watched LA Dodgers star Freddie Freeman make history in Game 4 of the World Series. The former Atlanta Braves slugger belted a home run against New York Yankees pitcher Luis Gil’s slider in the first inning. Freeman has now homered in six straight World Series games, an MLB record.
“King James” reacted to Freeman’s feat with a message on X, formerly Twitter:
“FREDDY FREEMAN WE ARE NOT WORTHY!!!!!”
Freeman has homered in the first four games for the Dodgers against the Yankees in the 2024 World Series.
In 2021, when he was still with the Braves, Freeman also batted the ball to the fans’ stands in Games 5 and 6 against the Houston Astros. His homer in Game 6 lifted the Braves to their first World Series win since 1995.
Freddie Freeman’s shot went 343 feet, allowing Mookie Betts to open the scoring. LA opened the game with a 2-0 lead before the Yankees
Freddie Freeman is arguably the biggest reason the LA Dodgers are up 3-0 in the series. He is the heavy favorite to become the MVP if the Dodgers win Game 4.
