Liv Morgan is set to defend her Women’s World title at WWE Bad Blood against Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage. The Judgment Day star successfully defended her title against Ripley at SummerSlam and could do so again despite Dirty Dom’s interference.
However, Rhea Ripley isn’t the only threat to Liv Morgan’s title heading into the premium live event on Saturday (October 5). Tiffany Stratton holds the Money in the Bank briefcase and could cash in on Liv after her battle with The Eradicator.
Tiffany Stratton is on SmackDown but could switch to RAW by defeating Morgan and taking her title. This could lead to a champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series with her current ally, Nia Jax, who holds the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Tension has been growing between Tiffany and Nia on Friday nights, with the latter having to defend her title against Bayley at Bad Blood. Many anticipate her protege will eventually cash in on her, but she could throw a curveball and capitalize on a weak Morgan instead.
Liv Morgan recently told the New York Post in an interview that her ongoing storyline with Rhea Ripley didn’t need the title. She highlighted how her feud with The Eradicator is a romance story involving Dom rather than just relying on the title.
If Triple H pulls the trigger on Tiffany and gives her the Women’s World title, she could become the face of the red brand. The 25-year-old is extremely popular with fans, and a babyface run on Monday nights on the move to Netflix could be a huge success.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Liv Morgan will be an intriguing feud post-WWE Bad Blood if champ moves on from Rhea Ripley
It seems unlikely WWE will end the Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley rivalry this Saturday at Bad Blood. The new Judgment Day is still in its early stages, and there’s still meat on the bones regarding the former Women’s World Champion getting revenge on Dirty Dom.
However, if Dom somehow influences the match at Bad Blood, it could pave the way for him to embroil in a one-on-one feud with Ripley. It would also open the door for Tiffany Stratton to cash in and start a rivalry with Morgan on RAW.
Liv and Tiffany are two of the company’s most popular stars. They have similar characteristics, with both currently conniving heels irritating their respective brands’ women’s rosters.
The WWE Universe is trying to figure out who would be next up for Liv if she prevails against Ripley in their feud. Charlotte Flair is another possibility, given that she’s yet to return from her long spell on the sidelines with injury.
