Love in the Air: Anna Kalinskaya Cheers on Jannik Sinner as He Captures US Open Victory!

The couple will, no doubt, be hoping to emulate the success of Boulter and de Minaur, who have developed an uncanny ability to win tournaments on the same day. British number one Katie Boulter recently beat Karolina Pliskova to defend her last year’s home soil Nottingham Open victory. After vanquishing Emma Raducanu in the semis, Tatler cover star Katie jokingly told crowds that her boyfriend was ‘in the doghouse’ after he wasn’t in the stands to witness her championship win. In all fairness, he was otherwise engaged, busy winning S-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands on the same day.

It’s not the first time Boulter and de Minaur have lifted trophies at the same time. When Boulter beat Marta Kostyuk to claim the title at the San Diego Open earlier this year, de Minaur raced across the Pacific Coast from his own victory in Acapulco to cheer her on from the crowd.

All players will have their eyes on the lawns of SW19 as the run up to Wimbledon continues, hoping to imitate Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi’s slam success at the 1999 French Open, when the pair both won singles titles. As the 25th anniversary of that ‘special slam’ approaches, Sinner and Kalinskaya will surely have their sights set on some couple’s silverware of their own next month.
