Maria Sharapova Mesmerizes in a Chic Gypsy-Style Dress: A Stunning Showcase of Her Timeless Elegance

She’s the face of a new line of sun-protection products.

So it was fitting Maria Sharapova flaunted the long length of her toned and tanned legs as she promoted her new venture on Extra TV on Wednesday.

The tennis ace stepped out to the Universal Studios in Hollywood, California, dressed in a flirty mini dress which exposed her slim pins.

Legs be having you: Maria Sharapova put on an extra leggy display in a gypsy-style mini dress as she promoted her new venture on American TV on Wednesday

Maria, 28, ditched her tennis whites and slipped on a more feminine frock – by high-end designer Chloe – which was emblazoned with a delicate pattern and featured sheer details.

The lean sports star lengthened her already long limbs by adding a pair of printed ankle-strap heels by Nicholas Kirkwood.

She kept her make-up to a minimum with natural-coloured tones highlighting her soft facial features.

First dibs: Maria appeared on the programme to promote a line of newly-released skincare products by Supergoop - of which she is the face and co-owner - and launch Project Black Dot

Maria wore her long blonde hair in a middle parting with the length of it teased into soft waves.

She was appearing on the daily television programme to promote a line of newly-released skincare products by Supergoop – of which she is the face and co-owner – and to launch Project Black Dot, an educational platform which tackles the issues of sunscreen use and skin-cancer prevention.

Talking recently about why she chose to originally join the team in April 2014, she told InStyle: ‘Sunscreen just became a natural part of my lifestyle.

Healthy skin ambassador: Maria is heading up a new educational platform which will tackle issues surrounding sunscreen and skin-cancer prevention

‘I trained from the early hours of 7 a.m. until the afternoon, and there was always a big jug of sunscreen next to the court. It just became quite educational for me.’

While she is celebrating the new venture, she’s not experienced quite the same success in her tennis career in recent weeks.

The Wimbledon champ was forced to pull out of this month’s US Open due to a leg injury.

On delivering the bad news last month, she wrote on her official Facebook page: ‘I have done everything possible to be ready but it was just not enough time.

‘To all my amazing fans, I will be back in the Asian swing in a few weeks and look forward to finishing the year healthy and strong.’

Moving on: The Wimbledon winner appeared to have fully recovered from a recent leg injury which forced her to pull out of this month's US Open
