Naomi Osaka recently shared highlights from her visit to Hong Kong’s M+ Museum, where she explored various exhibits. The Japanese star has wrapped up her season and is now taking a well-deserved getaway in Asia.
Osaka last competed at the China Open, where she reached the fourth round after defeating Lucia Bronzetti, Yulia Putintseva, and Katie Volynets. However, her run concluded with a walkover to Coco Gauff.
Osaka is currently in Hong Kong, where she attended an exhibition at the modern art museum. The four-time Major champion shared glimpses of her time at the exhibition on Instagram.
The first clip featured an elegant golden fashion piece on display, and Osaka beamed with delight while recording the masterpiece.
“ICONIC,” she captioned the clip.
Osaka later shared a close-up of the fashion piece and wrote:
“The most gorgeous gorgeous exhibition I’ve ever seen. So inspiring.”

Before Hong Kong, Osaka was in Japan to take some time off. She recently attended the rugby test match between Japan and New Zealand at Yokohama’s International Stadium and shared glimpses from the game on Instagram.
Before that, Osaka had shared her disappointment following her withdrawal from the China Open.
She said,
“I’ve played so many tournaments this year, so it was definitely the toughest decision to not play this and obviously not play BJK. I really honestly enjoyed it so much, and I think it helped with my development as a player.”
Suffering from abdominal and back injuries, the 27-year-old also withdrew from the remainder of the Asian swing and the 2024 season. This included notable tournaments such as the Japan Women’s Open, the Toray Pan Pacific Open, and the Billie Jean King Cup.
Osaka, who was in Japan before traveling to Hong Kong, shared several other pictures from her getaway, where her baby daughter, Shai, joined her.
The 27-year-old went shopping with her daughter and later shared that she let Shai choose what to buy when she feels uncertain.
She shared on her Instagram stories,
“I let Shai pick when we go shopping, and I can’t decide between two things. She hasn’t missed so far Natural fashionista lol.”
Osaka holds a win-loss record of 22-17 this season. The Japanese ended the 2024 season without winning a tour-level title.
