Randy Orton made a special appearance on NXT last week. He gave a lesson to one of the brand’s rising stars.
Myles Borne has been doing quite well for himself in NXT. Ever since he aligned with Charlie Dempsey to form the No Quarter Catch Crew, he has been impressive when given the opportunity. Although he is far off from making his main roster call-up, Borne is still learning the ropes and is growing in the ring. He also got the chance to learn something valuable from a WWE veteran last week.
Last week, Randy Orton made a rare appearance on NXT and faced Je’Von Evans in the main event. Given his experience, Orton showed that he has something to offer the younger stars on the roster. Following this appearance, Myles Borne was trying to perform Orton’s signature pose backstage when The Viper walked into the room. The WWE veteran showed the youngster how his pose is done before walking away.
At WWE Bad Blood, Kevin Owens turned heel and attacked Cody Rhodes outside the parking lot near his tour bus. On SmackDown, Owens showed up to explain his actions, which also brought the American Nightmare out as well. Orton came out and tried to diffuse the situation before both men came to blows.
However, Owens accidentally elbowed Orton, resulting in The Viper retaliating against the Prizefighter. Following the segment, Orton told Nick Aldis that he would speak to Owens, and he did later that night, only to be brutally assaulted by the man who he had called his friend for the past several months. Aldis found Orton on the ground outside the arena after the incident.
It looks like Kevin Owens is not shy about making enemies of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.
