Swiss “bullet train” has a fun time with family on a trip to Japan.
After finishing his Laver Cup duties, Roger Federer and his family traveled to Japan. In photos posted on his Instagram, he revealed that he and his family really enjoyed the food and culture there, and wanted to explore famous places.
The Swiss tennis player shared a glimpse of his exciting trip with pictures at a grocery store. The 20-time Grand Slam champion also showed off his photography skills, capturing the vibrant atmosphere of Tokyo’s Takeshita district.
Federer also visited an indoor tennis club in Tokyo, much to the delight of the staff. He also requested privacy for his family during practice, which led to the club closing to visitors for the day.
Since officially ending his professional tennis career in September 2022, the former world No. 1 knows how to enjoy life. He spends more time with his family and himself.
During his appearance at the Laver Cup as co-founder of the tournament, Federer explained why his daily schedule remains busy despite retiring from tennis, joking that this is what happens when a man is married and has four children.
“This is definitely a test on a whole other level,” he said.
