Serena Williams’ Stylish Comeback: A Prayer and a Valentino Jean Skirt on Her Postpartum Journey!

Serena Williams Takes on Her Denim Valentino Skirt Challenge Again on Instagram!

Serena Williams is back in action, attempting to fit into her beloved denim Valentino skirt as she chronicles her postpartum fitness journey. Just two months after her last try, the iconic 42-year-old tennis superstar shared a new video on Instagram this Monday, showcasing her determination and humor.

In her playful caption, she wrote, “Guess what? The jean skirt is baaaaaaackkkkkk! Paris was a blast, but it’s time to see if I can squeeze into this skirt—saying a little prayer…lol!”

Wearing a cute light pink romper in the clip, Serena addressed her fans with excitement: “I haven’t tried it on since the last attempt, so let’s see what happens. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! And remember, no negativity if it doesn’t fit just yet.”

This time, Serena was one step closer to her weight loss goal, managing to pull the skirt on—though the zipper still had a little more work to do!

The athlete was happy with her progress, telling fans: ‘We don’t have that big of a problem anymore, but we still got a little bit of a problem.’

‘Who in the world is fitting these skirts?’ she playfully asked.

‘I might need to check back in another few weeks,’ the star added, saying the skirt is ‘a little tight, I can’t really breathe. I might have to do one more video.’

Serena also thanked fans for joining her on the ‘long’ and ‘hard journey’ and added, ‘we’ve made a lot of progress.’

Meanwhile her fans and followers praised her figure and advised Serena to simply get a new skirt.

‘Throw that skirt away and buy a new one with a lil stretch b/c your body is perfect,’ one wrote.

‘The skirt is the wrong shape, not you. Get a new skirt,’ another added.

‘I like your honesty about the work and struggle. Not promoting snap back culture x,’ yet another fan chimed in.

Although Williams said she’s ‘been gym-ing alot,’ she doesn’t think ‘the needle is moving.’
