The WWE Vault YouTube channel has uploaded a previously unaired clip of John Cena‘s first appearance in NXT!
While Cena most famously appeared on NXT last October, you may be surprised to know this was not his first appearance on the black and gold brand. That honour goes to his appearance on the May 29th 2013 taping of the show where he appeared during an unaired segment.
In the segment, Cena comes face-to-face with Damian Sandow and eventually gets some verbal aid from then-NXT up-and-comers Enzo and Cass. Eventually, Cena outwits Sandow on the mic before driving him through a table with an Attitude Adjustment.
Adam Cole Looks To Be Back On AEW Programming Soon
It appears Adam Cole is finally making his way back to AEW programming full-time.
Fightful Select reports that those backstage at AEW are expecting Cole to return to the promotion sooner rather than later and plans are being prepared for that eventuality. This follows Cole being backstage at AEW All Out without the help of crutches or any other medical equipment.
Cole has been out of action since AEW Dynamite Grand Slam last year where he suffered a major ankle injury when he ran out to ringside during then-partner MJF’s AEW World Championship defence against Samoa Joe.
Despite the injury, Cole continued to make sporadic appearances on programming and was later turned on MJF when he was revealed to be The Devil which had long tormented Friedman. However, Cole disappeared from TV sometime later as it was believed the travel was slowing down his recovery.

During last night’s edition of Raw, Joe Tessitore announced that the former NXT Champion suffered a torn meniscus during a live event match with Gunther yesterday. Unfortunately, he is expected to be recovering for at least six to nine months – keeping him on the shelf well in 2025.

Jey Uso Unveils New WWE Intercontinental Title Design
Jey Uso has revealed a new version of the WWE Intercontinental Championship – the belt’s first re-design in almost five years!
Last week, Jey Uso shockingly dethroned Bron Breakker to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. His victory not only marked the first singles championship win of his WWE career but also allowed him to break an 11-year streak in the company.
Just one week later, Uso made history again by introducing a new design for his newly-won title. In the opening segment of last night’s Raw, Uso appeared with a new version of his championship with the globes on the front and side face plates recoloured to blue.
This marks the first redesign of the Intercontinental title when Sami Zayn presented the belt with an overhauled design to then-champion Shinsuke Nakamura in November 2019.

Former TNT Champion Luchasaurus, currently known as Killswitch, has been hospitalised after a sudden collapse.
