Stephen Curry Leaves New Splash Brother Starstruck as Warriors Veteran Embraces Draymond’s Spirit to Make Waves!

“This is not a zero-sum game,” said Steve Kerr, confidently arguing against modern fans’ black & white view of winning the ring. The 9x Champ instead urged everyone to focus on the quality of basketball the teams produce. While the critics have already disregarded the Dubs’ roster, a vet guard, following Draymond Green’s words, warns the community about the Bay Area’s newly revamped attack. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry did what he does best, leaving people in awe—the new Splash Bro, the latest victim of Steph’s brilliance!

Steph’s mastery needs no introduction, especially this year. After going under the radar at the Paris Olympics, he turned the clock in the last two games and emerged as the leading points scorer of the US side. Not to forget the superstar’s four back-to-back clutch daggers from the arc to seal the deal. It’s no doubt that the 4x NBA Champ is currently soaring with confidence and, with that, he can continue to impress people with his magic on the court.

Buddy Hield, the new Warrior, didn’t hesitate to heap praise on Stephen Curry during the Hawaii practice session. The ex-Pacers guard, who has an impressive accuracy of 40.0% from the 3-pt line, was considered the direct replacement for Klay Thompson, aka. Splash Bro. And he already seemed to have filled the void, as we conclude it, after a hint of camaraderie.

The 31-year-old guard had his media availability scheduled during Steph Curry’s post-practice shootouts. And Buddy Hield didn’t waver in calling out the media’s hindrance, as he unapologetically said, “Right now, y’all are killing my watch time because I like to watch him (Steph) work out. I think it’s a thing of beauty. What he does is special, with and without the ball… I’m just glad to be here, watch him and learn.”

We feel you, Buddy, we feel you! Well, Steph Curry’s awesome shooting exhibition isn’t enough to win the championship. Right? But the Golden State Warriors have more than that. At least this is what Draymond Green and Gary Payton II believe.

No one expected the Warriors to win the championship in 2022 after the two-year disappointment. But, the team made it happen, pooling the right set of players into the roster. However, in the following seasons, the team again faced a dip. Well, there can be multiple reasons behind it, like injuries, an unhappy superstar, and suspensions. Now with Klay Thompson leaving the franchise, there’s almost an unsaid statement looming in the NBA world that the Warriors dynasty is over!

However, the team’s star power forward Draymond Green doesn’t seem to have let go of it easily. Following the Day 1 practice session in Hawaii, Green confidently said, “We can do that s–t again. I know we can do it again.” Building on that, Gary Payton II, who featured in the latest episode of 95.7 The Game, speaking to Willard and Dibs, dropped a warning.

“They told us in ’22 that… We were on a downfall. Warriors are done. What not? I’m pretty sure that they’re saying even more now,” Payton said, before nailing a confident statement. He continued, “We added some great pieces… We’re gonna shock a lot of people and I think we’re gonna do some damage in the West even though the West is pretty stacked this year.”

Did Gary Payton II sound a little overconfident or will the Warriors actually shock the West? Let us know in the comments.
