Taylor Swift fans are convinced the star helped her boyfriend Travis Kelce score his first touchdown of the season after ‘blessing him’ the night before.

During the song Midnight Rain at her Eras Tour gig in New Orleans on Saturday, the  14-time Grammy winner gestured and mouthed the words ‘Touchdown’.

Just hours later, Kelce scored his first touchdown of the season for the Kansas City Chiefs while playing against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Swifties have since joked it’s another example of the singer’s ‘magical powers’ – which they dub ‘tayvoodoo’.

‘Tayvoodoo’, a term used by the ultimate Swifties’ that means if you disrespect the Queen of Pop in any way you will experience a swift sudden wave of karma.

Kelce’s touchdown was also the first in 13 games. Thirteen is Taylor’s lucky number, she was born on December 13th, often incorporates the number into her songs and music videos.

‘Travis Kelce got his first regular season touchdown in 13 games, just hours after Taylor Swift did this at her concert. THIS is Tayvoodoo,’ one fan wrote on X.

‘She sent all of the tayblessings travis’ way so he’s gonna get a touchdown today,’ said another.

‘Travis Kelce just scored his first touchdown in 13 games after Taylor did this touchdown motion last night… that’s tayvoodoo,’.

During her Midnights set, the final set of the three-hour record breaking show, Taylor sings the song Midnight Rain.

After singing the lyrics ‘He never thinks of me, except when I’m on TV,’ the star often makes a gesture which have previously included throwing an arrow, mock crying and doing an archer pose.

But on Saturday the star mouthed ‘touchdown’ and lifted her arms above her head.

Some fans quickly speculated that she ‘blessing’ Ceaser’s stadium as it’s where the Superbowl will be held later this, and where Travis will be hoping to retain his crown.

‘Travis scoring a touchdown after Tay screamed it yesterday shes never beating the allegations,’ wrote one fan.

‘HIS FIRST REGULAR SEASON TOUCHDOWN IN 13 GAMES ARE YOU KIDDING ME?’ said another. ‘TAYVOODOO IS REAL’.

‘This is the stadium where the Superbowl will take place. She literally just sealed the chiefs win with that Tayvoodoo in Nola,’ said another.

‘I’m sorry The Chiefs first touchdown in 13 games after Taylor yelled ‘touchdown’ is INSANE, Tayvoodoo is real.

‘I’m sorry? First touchdown in 13 games? Tayvoodoo my friends.

‘TAY MADE THAT TOUCHDOWN HAPPEN AND WE THANK GOD!!!!

‘I know Tayvoodoo is silly and fun but like… She did the touchdown thing during midnight rain last night and Travis just got his first touchdown of the season

‘I already thought she was a witch but…’ added another.

The next day, Taylor changed lyrics in her song Karma in a sweet tribute to Travis.

Instead of the lyrics ‘Karma is the guy on the screen’  she crooned about ‘the guy on the Chiefs’ after her boyfriend’s team secured a 27-20 win over the Raiders.

Even though he was on the other side of the country, playing against the Raiders in Las Vegas, she still celebrated the tight end making his first touchdown of the season and helping his team take home their seventh-straight win.

During the Midnights segment of her show, as fireworks went off, she sang: ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.’

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter — who reportedly has plans to start an alcohol brand with her boyfriend and acquire a sports team together — also did Kelce’s famous archer pose while performing Midnight Rain.

On the same night, Swift performed her third and final show in New Orleans to a sold out crowd.

Swift’s beau was obviously busy during her concert but she had her parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, in attendance and showing their support.

During her Lover set, she referenced her purple bodysuit and said to the New Orleanian crowd’s excitement: ‘Doesn’t my outfit seem very New Orleans?’

Another fun moment during the show was when Swift was performing We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together during her Red era.

When she sang the eponymous line, Kam Saunders, one of her backup dancers and New Orleans Saints’ Khalen Saunders’ brother, exclaimed: ‘She said what she said!’

Taylor’s fans have long joked the singer has ‘witch’ powers.

Ahead of the Baltimore Ravens vs the Chiefs match in January, fans claimed that the Ravens players mocked Ms Swift by ‘swag surfing’.

And that despite them being the clear favourite to win the game, they resounding lost 10-17, with one X user writing: ‘Tayvoodoo’d themselves out of the Super Bowl’

She was also heckled by Ravens fans who shouted at her ‘you are ruining football’ after the loss.

However her legion of fans came to her side and are convinced she is the only reason that the Chiefs are winning.

Those who have come up against the 14-time Grammy winner – who famously told Vogue ‘Karma is real’   – have seemed to have suffered from ‘Tayvoodoo’, the term her fans use for those who cross her.

More recently, Dave Grohl sparked a row when he implied the singer doesn’t perform live – before he sensationally admitted to cheating on his wife.

Scooter Braun, who came up against Swift when her brought her masters has since retired and got divorced, after a series of his high-profile clients dumped him.

In October, a group of NY Giant fans booed the singer when an advert came on starring he before a game, they then lost 24-3.
