Taylor Swift's Sweet Tribute to Travis Kelce on National Boyfriend Day!

In fact, the Grammy winner seems to have given her boyfriend Travis Kelce a sweet shoutout in the form of a new merch drop on her website—a collection that just happened to be dropped on Oct. 3 a.k.a. National Boyfriend Day.

The merch, inspired by her most recent studio album The Tortured Poets Department, is called “The Greatest in the League,” which is a lyric from the album’s song “The Alchemy.”

It’s a track that, along with “So High School,” is rumored to be about none other than Travis himself.

Within “The Alchemy,” which details Taylor, 34, finding a new partner after ditching “the clowns,” the Grammy winner makes a few sports references—a seeming nod to her boyfriend’s NFL career on the Kansas City Chiefs.

“So when I touch down / Call the amateurs and / Cut ’em from the team,” she sings in the chorus, later adding, “These blokes warm the benches / We been on a winning streak.”

And, perhaps most notably, she refers to “the greatest in the league.”

That lyric is especially true these days. While Travis, also 34, has long been regarded as one of the best tight ends of all time, he recently set a record after he made his 917th catch in the Chiefs’ Sept. 29 game—officially besting a team record previously set by NFL legend Tony Gonzalez.

The significance of the accomplishment was not lost on Travis, who spoke to the inspiration Tony and his career—much of which was spent with the Chiefs before Tony’s retirement in 2013—have had on him.

“I f–king love the guy,” Travis told brother Jason Kelce onthe Oct. 1 episode of their New Heights podcast. “He’s motivated me in ways that he doesn’t even know, and I’ve tried my entire career to match what he was to this organization, to this game of football. To be in conversations—not to say that I am as good as Tony, not to say that I’ve surpassed Tony—to be in a conversation as cool as this, having as many receptions in the organization he spent the majority of his career in, is just an honor.”

And of course, Taylor has been there to see much of Travis’ NFL journey since they began dating in the summer of 2023, often attending his home games alongside Travis’ friends and family such as mom Donna Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes’wife Brittany Mahomes.

As Taylor previously told TIME in December, “I’m going to see him do what he loves. We’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”
