WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill love that they are facing all sorts of challengers eager to take the titles.
While they are SmackDown Superstars, Belair and Cargill were on this week’s episode of RAW where they retained their titles against Damage CTRL.
The match saw a distraction by NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, who Belair and Cargill have previously defended against.
Speaking on RAW Talk, the champions were excited with the level of competition and the appearances of the NXT talent.
BB: “Listen, they came to SmackDown, and they put up a good fight, they really should have been proud of themselves. They did, but instead of going back to NXT and working on their skills and getting stronger and faster, they decided to to show up to Raw tonight and get in our business?”
JC: “[They] embarrassed themselves if you asked me. They made enemies tonight out of IYO and Kairi. Out of everybody, why would you do that? But I love that for this tag team division.”
BB: “I do. You know what, I love the confidence, I have to say that. But they’re making enemies. But you know what, it’s making this whole tag team division interesting.”
JC: “That’s what we were trying to do from the beginning. But these are our belts.”
BB: “It is, but I love competition, so this is fun for me.”
JC: “We love competition. Like we said, Raw, SmackDown, NXT, come get it. We welcome it. Come apply, baby.”
Cargill and Belair are in their second reigns as tag team champions after regaining the titles in August at WWE Bash In Berlin.
