The Rock vs. Roman Reigns Won’t Be Happening at WWE WrestleMania 41: What Match Could Dwayne Johnson Be Competing In Instead?

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is a dream match that fans would not miss for anything, but it might not be the one WWE is working towards for WrestleMania 41. Well, the upcoming edition of The Show of Shows will be bigger and better, and for that, the Stamford-based promotion has been planning for The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes.

It so happens that The American Nightmare dropped a major hint about exactly how big the main event will be when he appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, revealing that it will be bigger than what anyone anticipated. So, what is better than two huge names in the industry battling in the ring? However, there might be an addition of another massive name in the bout as well.

The Brahma Bull and the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion can be booked for a Triple Threat Match with the third competitor being none other than Roman Reigns.

Fans will go berserk over this since it mashes two dream matches into one and brings several storylines together. Each superstar has some form of tension with the other, and whoever comes out on top might just be the main character in the entire professional wrestling industry.

While Dwayne Johnson will most likely return for WrestleMania 41, it is unknown if The Final Boss will continue to be a part of WWE following the massive premium live event. Keeping that in mind, it might be in the global wrestling juggernaut’s best interest to give fans the two matches they desperately want or at least one big match with elements from both dream matches.

WWE Bad Blood is scheduled for October 5, 2024. The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa will face Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in a tag team match at the PLE. The unlikely tag team formed by The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare has come across as quite a shock for fans.

The Rock, however, might not be too appreciative of his cousin teaming up with his arch-nemesis. He can show up at Bad Blood 2024 to express his displeasure and put both Rhodes and Reigns on notice this time.

On the other hand, the tag team of Cody and Roman seems to be a one-time affair. If the Stamford-based promotion continues to keep them together, WrestleMania 41’s main event might be a tag team match between The Rock & Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes.
