The Rock’s Shocking Return: What It Means for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes in WWE’s Power Struggle

At the 2024 Bad Blood PLE, Roman Reigns teamed up with Cody Rhodes and took out Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu of the Bloodline in a tag team match. The match took place in the main event of the show. Roman and Cody picked up the win with the distraction from the returning Jimmy Uso.

After the match, the Bloodline attacked Cody, which made Roman and Jimmy make the save. Roman handed the title to Cody, and all celebrated the win, however, The Rock’s music played and the Final Boss made his return appearing on the entrance ramp to have a staredown at their celebration. As Rock made his return, what does it mean for Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes?

The Rock during his promo on Instagram Live, right after the Bad Blood appearance, commented on the posters in the promotion truck. During the promo, Rock saw the picture of Dusty Rhodes and said that he is one of his heroes. He loves him but hates his son. It seems like the Final Boss hasn’t forgotten anything during the hiatus and will be coming for Cody Rhodes, which he promised before going for the hiatus.

The Rock following his return, cut a promo on Instagram live, walking backstage and leaving the arena. During the promo, Rock said, “The final boss is feeling a lot of things. And you know why? Because there’s been a bunch of bullshit that’s been going on in the past six months.”

It seems like the Final Boss is upset about the new Bloodline and will be coming to reinstate things. Rock could be the one who gave the new Bloodline the authority to take the title from Cody, but the frequent failure attempts might have pissed him off. As a result, Rock would have come to step in to do the business by himself. This seemingly suggests that Rock could be the upper head of the new Bloodline.

The Rock could be upset with Roman Reigns teaming up with Cody Rhodes to take on the Bloodline, which carries the family’s legacy. Rock has unfinished business with Cody and already has teased that he will be coming for Cody, no matter what.

As Rock has a big beef with Cody, Roman aligning with Cody could piss him off. The Rock’s return timings, when Roman gave the title to Cody, hint that it is not the end Rock expected from Roman. This could result in potentially putting Roman in the Tribal Court and Rock turning on him.
