The Rock’s WWE Comeback: A Game-Changer for Roman Reigns or a New Challenge Ahead?

WWE Superstars The Rock and Roman Reigns have not shared the ring since their electrifying appearance at WrestleMania 40. The dynamic duo teamed up to conquer Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the event’s first night, setting the stage for a thrilling Bloodline Rules match between Reigns and Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship on night two. Fans are eagerly anticipating their next moves after such an unforgettable showdown!

WWE's The Rock and Roman Reigns

Many hailed this main event as the greatest in WrestleMania history. The match featured interference from The Usos, Solo Sikoa, John Cena, The Rock, Seth Rollins, and The Undertaker. Despite the chaos, Cody Rhodes overcame Roman Reigns, claiming the WWE Undisputed title that Reigns had held for 1316 days.

After the match, The Rock confronted Cody Rhodes following the latter’s win. The Final Boss warned Rhodes that he would come for him once his filming obligations were complete. As time passed, significant changes occurred in the Bloodline, previously led by Reigns.

Solo Sikoa has taken control of the faction, forcing Roman Reigns to battle against the Bloodline for Ula Fala. With Reigns outnumbered, Cody Rhodes stepped in to help him. Together, Reigns and Rhodes will face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood this weekend.

The Rock has remained absent from programming since WrestleMania 40. However, his return was recently teased by Pat McAfee. This raises questions about the implications for Reigns, who is currently teaming up with Rhodes.

WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes recently appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” ahead of his tag team match at WWE Bad Blood. While saying his goodbyes, McAfee casually mentioned the possibility of “the big guy” returning this week. Rhodes responded by asking, “Which one?” McAfee then dropped a cryptic hint, stating, “You told me enough!”

This exchange sparked speculation among fans that The Rock might be on the verge of returning this weekend at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be interesting to see how The Final Boss reacts upon witnessing Roman Reigns teaming up with Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline. Fans expect The Rock to be unhappy with Reigns, which could lead to a match between them in the future.
