Tony D’Angelo Celebrates NXT North American Title Victory with Shawn Michaels After Thrilling 10/8 WWE NXT!

On the October 8 episode of WWE NXT, Tony D’Angelo secured an impressive victory over Oba Femi to win the NXT North American Championship in a tough match. After the win, he was seen celebrating his achievement with Shawn Michaels.

The match between Tony D’Angelo and Oba Femi was intense, with both men giving it their all. Oba Femi started strong, using big slams and chokeslams to take control, but Tony D’Angelo refused to give up.

Tony made a comeback with smart moves and strong attacks. The biggest moment came when Oba Femi slammed Tony through the announce table with a spinebuster, almost winning the match. But Tony kept fighting, escaping defeat multiple times before using a sunset flip to pin Femi and win the NXT North American Championship. WWE NXT took to their official Instagram account and uploaded a video of Tony D’Angelo following his huge win, as he met Shawn Michaels who congratulated him on his huge win. D’Angelo thanked Michaels and then he celebrated being the Italian North American Champion.

This win is a huge moment for Tony D’Angelo, proving he’s a top star in NXT, especially after he ended Femi’s record-breaking NXT North American Championship reign. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see how The Don of NXT will be booked as the NXT North American Champion in the coming weeks.
