Travis Kelce revealed he’s expanded his food palette since dating Taylor Swift but the Kansas City Chiefs‘ star warned he still won’t eat anything that looks like, “it just came out of a butthole.”
The triple Super Bowl champion was speaking to his older brother, Jason, about how he has been introduced to new food cultures since he began a relationship with the billionaire popstar in August 2023, particularly highlighting Indian food.
And whilst he praised his 34-year-old girlfriend for her influences on his diet, there’s still a clear line that the right end is not willing to cross as he finally experiences curry dishes for the first time.
“I’m in on, like, a light curry,” Kelce said to the New Heights podcast. “The more it gets thicker and looks like a baby food or like baby s**t, then I’m out.
“Food that looks like it just came out of a butthole? Yes, I do have a mental block for that.”
The footballer, who has forged a formidable partnership with Patrick Mahomes, also revealed he’s not a fan of New Orleans-style foods, just days after beating the Saints 26-13 at the Arrowhead Stadium as he delivers another blow to their fans.
He particularly criticized jambalaya, which is a creole dish including tomatoes and rice that can be partnered with chicken, smoked sausage or seafood, describing it as looking “poo-ey.”
After defeating the Saints at the Arrowhead Stadium in front of Taylor Swift, Kelce and the Chiefs have improved their record to 5-0 for the season and have maintained their 100% start, assuming command of the AFC West.
But they will not play in Week 6 as they head on a bye week, so when are they next back in action?
The Kansas City Chiefs will return when they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 20 live on ESPN with kick-off at the Levi’s Stadium expected at 16:25 ET/13:25 PT, in a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII which the Chiefs won 25-22.
