Triple H has released a statement regarding a shocking incident between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens after WWE Bad Blood.
Rhodes won his Bad Blood tag-team bout as his teammate, Roman Reigns, pinned Solo Sikoa thanks to an assist from Jimmy Uso.
After the show went off the air, the WWE Undisputed Championship was attacked by rival Owens in the parking lot.
Owens blindsided Rhodes in footage that has been captured by fans inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

\”And he’s actually my father. How could I even play that out? I can’t fake kiss my dad like we were in love or something. It was just revolving.\”
Stephanie then revealed that Vince pitched for Shane to be the father – which, again, was unsurprisingly turned down.
In the ‘Mr McMahon’ docuseries, both Stephanie and Vince are asked about the storyline.
And while Stephanie decides not to talk about it further, Vince laughs when he is asked.
The docuseries, which runs for six episodes, can be viewed in full on Netflix from today.”])
The title would be used in different guises for the next 17 years, before it was retired once John Cena became world champion in 2005.
It was also the belt that Rhodes’ father Dusty competed for during his short initial spell with WWE (then WWF).
And Rhodes spoke of his desire to bring the ‘winged eagle’ back – although also argued for the title’s current design and stressed that the final decision lies with WWE head of creative, Triple H.
He said: \”This [the current belt] is what I got in the ring so there’s a level of specialness to this, equity that’s been put into it, that I have a warm feeling about, so I feel differently about it today.
\”However, that said, I had changed a title previously in the past.
\”I am not in charge of anything, I am no longer an EVP, I have no stroke other than the fact that I’m the champion, but I just think it would be special perhaps to see a particular championship, one that I grew up on.
\”Again, I’m not in charge of anything. Triple H is in charge of things, but you guys are damn right – the winged eagle.
\”If it doesn’t happen, just don’t get mad at me, okay? I’ll do what I did the last time, I’m going to try my best.\””])
As part of his London mayoral election manifesto, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has pledged to bring WrestleMania to the capital.
\”London is already the sporting capital of the world,\” the incumbent mayor posted on X.
\”If I’m re-elected next Thursday – we’ll go even further. We’ll look to bring WrestleMania, Superbowl and the NBA to London, and put together another bid for the 2040 Olympics.\”
A few hours after Khan tweeted, WWE legend and the organisation’s current chief content officer Triple H real name Paul Levesque – responded.
\”Let’s talk,\” the former wrestler simply replied to Khan’s tweet.
Khan replied to the 54-year-old: \”I’ll be in touch.\”
It’s fair to say UK-based WWE fans were excited.
\”Give the PEOPLE what they want Triple H,\” one fan commented, while another replied to the exchange: \”YESSSSSS SIRRRRRR. FINALLY SOME REAL WRESTLING AT WEMBLEY.\”
A third fan tweeted: \”A Wrestlemania in London would be amazing! Imagine Roman Reigns taking on Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania at Wembley.\””])
After defending his title, Rhodes spoke about his potential next opponents.
He said: “LA Knight is somebody that I look at because, I get it, ‘it’s two good guys.’ I understand that. There is a flavour there. There is something about it. When you have that fever, you want to know. ‘I’m the man.’ ‘No, I’m the man.’ All that macho toxic alpha stuff that I still have a bit of, I suppose.”
Rhodes added: “I had a fairly humbling moment a few nights before WrestleMania — my bus [caught] fire outside of Lincoln Financial.
“[It was humbling] Knowing that all your things might go up in flames, minus the pair of boots that I took off as I was standing out in the rain watching this thing burn. Thankfully, that fire department handled it [and] put it out.””])
