We are now just one week away from WWE Crown Jewel 2024, and this year’s Saudi Arabia show promises a stacked card with some massive matches. The most recent episode of SmackDown added even more exciting bouts to Crown Jewel 2024.

One of the biggest matches now official for the show is the clash between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. This match was made official by Triple H himself after the Legend Killer called out the Game to repeat the request he previously made to Nick Aldis.

Triple H initially revealed that he was trying to protect Randy Orton from KO. However, after a heated exchange, he ultimately announced Orton vs. Owens, fulfilling the Apex Predator’s demand.

Additionally, a major triple-threat match for the United States Championship is now official for the Saudi Arabia show. This was set up after LA Knight, serving as a special guest referee, attacked both Andrade and Carmelo Hayes during their Game 7 match. Following this, Nick Aldis confronted the Megastar backstage and forcefully announced a triple-threat match between LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, and Andrade for the U.S. title at Crown Jewel 2024.

Lastly, in a backstage segment, Nick Aldis, Adam Pearce, and Ava Raine jointly announced that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will put their titles on the line at the Saudi Arabia show.

In this match, Jade and Bianca will face IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, and Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson in a fatal 4-way tag match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

These three matches will join the two major championship showdowns WWE has already lined up. The first will see Gunther face Cody Rhodes for the inaugural Crown Jewel title, while Liv Morgan and Nia Jax will compete for the inaugural Crown Jewel Women’s title. Also, a singles match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed is official for the Saudi Arabia show.

The updated card for Crown Jewel 2024 following SmackDown is as follows:

  • Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens – singles match
  • LA Knight (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade – triple threat match for United States Championship
  • Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes for the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Championship
  • Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax for the inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
  • Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed – singles match
  • Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs. IYO SKY and Kairi Sane vs. Piper Niven and Chelsea Green vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson – fatal 4-way tag match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship

Following the recent episode of SmackDown, it seems highly unlikely that WWE will add more matches to the Crown Jewel 2024 card. WWE has already confirmed six matches for the Saudi Arabia show, and the Stamford-based promotion is expected to continue with these matches only.

Typically, the company includes only four to five matches in its regular Premium Live Events. Given this pattern, it appears clear that, with six matches already confirmed for Crown Jewel 2024, WWE is unlikely to expand the card further.
