- The Rock made a shocking return at Bad Blood 2024 and stared the superstars in the ring after the main event. For once, it looked like the Final Boss might not make a return. The Rock’s music played in the arena after Cody Rhodes raised his title. The Rock didn’t say anything and walked back after standing on the entrance area for a minute.
The Rock went live on Instagram after his return and addressed the WWE Universe. He talked about the superstars on the WWE’s trucks and hilariously trolled John Cena. Both legendary superstars had a rivalry from 2011 to 2013.
The Rock made his WWE return as the host of Wrestlemania 27 and he defeated Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania 28. Cena defeated The Rock in the main event of Wrestlemania 29 to win the WWE Championship.
At Wrestlemania 40, both superstars shared the ring once again and The Rock attacked Cena. Cena was out there to help Cody Rhodes while The Rock wanted Roman Reigns to successfully defend his title.
Who will The Rock face?
As of now, The Rock is likely to face Cody and Roman. The chances of a triple-threat match taking place at Wrestlemania 41 can’t also be denied. Before that, The Rock could lead the new Bloodline against Roman’s Bloodline in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Since The Rock didn’t say anything at Bad Blood, it’s not clear who he wants to face. A clear word on The Rock’s future should be out on next week’s Smackdown.
Reigns will be on next week’s Smackdown and will make regular appearances over the next two months. Survivor Series 2024 is scheduled to take place on November 30.
If The Rock doesn’t perform at Survivor Series, then he might make his return at Royal Rumble and win the 30-man match to earn a title opportunity. The Rock teamed up with Reigns against Cody and Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 40.
