Supernatural gimmicks don’t often work out in wrestling, especially in today’s time. In WWE history, there were only a handful of such gimmicks that worked in the long run. The Undertaker and Kane are the biggest examples of this. NXTalso had a supernatural gimmick in Mei Ying. The character had ancient supernatural powers and she was the leader of Tian Sha — a tag team that consisted of Xia Li and Boa.
