What Did Jannik Sinner Say About the Rumors of His Marriage to Nick Kyrgios’ Ex?

The world number one tennis player has denied marrying his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya.

World number one Jannik Sinner is now dating another WTA Tour player, Anna Kalinskaya. While they initially tried to keep their relationship private, they both realised that was impossible.

Since then, Sinner and Kalinskaya have been seen cheering each other on in the stands during their matches, and they even shared a kiss after Sinner’s US Open win. They encourage each other to be better, but there have also been rumors surrounding their relationship.

One of the most recent rumors has been that the two have gotten married, or at least engaged, in recent weeks. Naturally, after beating Tomas Martin Etcheverry at the 2024 Shanghai Masters, Sinner was given his say on the rumor.

Jannik Sinner gets intimate with girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya after winning the 2024 US Open

The Italian tennis player immediately denied the marriage with Kalinskaya, insisting that nothing had changed in his relationship with the Russian.

“That’s news to me too, to be honest (laughs). No, I didn’t propose, and nothing, nothing happened. I just read a little bit of information that it happened after the US Open, but it’s all not true. Thanks.”

After winning the match and answering the question, the world No. 1 can fully focus on his campaign at the Shanghai Masters, as he aims to win his first title since his victory at Flushing Meadows.

Carlos Alcaraz beat him in the final at the China Open, and the Italian will certainly want revenge in Shanghai. After his latest win over Etcheverry, he admitted that he will focus on his recovery, having played a lot of tennis in recent days.

“I’m just happy to be involved in these games, as always, and you know, that’s definitely a good thing. But also important for me is tomorrow, I have a day off, I need to recover, and that’s my priority now, hopefully to be ready for the next game.”
