Both had their first match at SummerSlam 2024, where Drew won. Punk took his revenge by defeating Drew in a strap match to level up the scores.

With one win each, they had their final match inside the Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood 2024, where they busted each other’s head open, showcasing one of the most brutal Hell in a Cell matches in recent times.

Punk won the third match after a tough match and ended the rivalry with a 2-1 lead. As the rivalry with Drew ended at Bad Blood, what’s next for CM Punk?

Punk risked his body and soul on the line against Drew inside the hell in a cell. Punk was drained out and stumbled while walking backstage. His Blood Pressure was checked and the oxygen cylinders were brought to support Punk’s breathing. As Punk successfully came out of the hell, he might take a brief hiatus from WWE TV to recover, before making his next big move.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins is one of the dream rivalries, which has been teased for a very long time. The reports reveal that the potential match between them should have been held at WrestleMania 40, however, the match got scrapped due to Punk’s tricep injury. Both crossed paths a lot of times, and Rollins even called him for a match, but both got busy with their rivals and injuries. As Rollins made his return and Punk ended his rivalry with Drew, there is a high chance that the rivalry could get reinstated next.

After Bash in Berlin, CM Punk opened up on his desire stating that he looks his sights on the world title. Punk also cut a promo on Raw, where he called out Gunther and warned him stating that he would come for him and the title, however, he got busy with McIntyre. As his rivalry with Punk ended at Bad Blood, there is a high chance that Punk could go after the Ring General for the world title.
