Faith Jefferies is an American Professional Wrestler, Taekwondo Practitioner and Musician, who is currently signed with WWE and is primarily wrestling for the company’s developmental brand under the ring name Nikkita Lyons.
Jefferies was born on August 5, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada and was brought up in Hollywood, California. At eight years of age, she won a black belt in Taekwondo. After completing her graduation in 2017, she started her professional wrestling training and made her debut the following year.
Jefferies was trained by Selina Majors for her professional wrestling debut and made her pro-wrestling debut at Women of Wrestling under the ring name “Faith The Lioness”. She competed there for over three years and participated in the WWE tryout in Las Vegas, where she successfully earned a WWE contract.
In late Summer 2021, Jefferies signed a developmental contract after the WWE Tryout. She began her training at the Performance Center and made her WWE debut on the December 31, 2021, episode of WWE 205 Live under the ring name Nikkita Lyons and lost to a singles match against Amari Miller.
Nikkita Lyons made her first television appearance on WWE NXT on February 22, 2022, where she competed in a singles match against Kayla Inlay and secured her first win in WWE. She got involved in a storyline with Lash Legend and began a storyline rivalry.
Nikkita Lyons formed an alliance with Cora Jade and feuded against Lash Legend and Natalya. After ending the feud with Legend, Lyons participated in the 2022 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament advancing to the second round by defeating Arianna Grace, however, unfortunately removed from the tournament after suffering multiple injuries on her MCL muscle.
She made her return the following month and participated in the 20-Woman Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender, where she eliminated Kayden Carter and Kiana James before being eliminated by Tiffany Stratton.
She entered the tag team division teaming with Zoey Stark to chase the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, however, another Stark got injured and Lyon had some Visa issues due to COVID-19, taking them away from the tournament.
Although removed from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, they competed for the NXT Women’s Championship match but were unsuccessful. After the loss, Stark turned on Lyons and they began a brief rivalry. Lyons again got injured in 2023 and it took almost a year away from in-ring action. Lyons is finally back in NXT in September 2024 and she is back on track to rebuild her career.
