Zaria is an Australian wrestling sensation. She has taken the NXT universe by storm. She’s fast establishing herself as a must-see talent, thanks to her bold demeanor and tremendous ring approach.
Before joining WWE, Zaria established herself on the Australian independent wrestling circuit as Delta, leaving a trail of titles and honors that paved the way for her American debut.
Delta’s wrestling career began in Adelaide, Australia, where she was inspired by her elder brother, Dean Brady. Dean, on the other hand, is also well-known in Australia’s wrestling industry.
He introduced her to the world of professional wrestling after she saw one of his matches at Riot City Wrestling (RCW). Watching him in action sparked a desire in her, and she soon started training and fighting under the name Delta.
She made her debut on December 31, 2020, at an RCW event. She teamed up with her brother to secure a win against Cayden Cornell and Savannah Summers. This marked the beginning of what turned into a huge and successful run in the Australian independent scene. Though she initially focused on singles competition, Delta eventually teamed up with Dean, and the sibling duo, known as Brady LTD, would go on to capture the RCW Tag Team Championship twice, proving their dominance in the tag team division.
Delta had popularity as a member of Brady LTD, but her solo career was as outstanding. She wrestled in Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW), winning the MCW Women’s Championship twice and being the first woman to hold the MCW Intercommonwealth Championship.
Her ascent continued when she became the first female wrestler to win the renowned RCW Championship, cementing her place as a pioneer in Australian wrestling.
Her quest culminated on April 12, 2024, when she faced Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Oceania Pro Wrestling’s H.E.R. event.
Although she did not win the championship, the bout demonstrated Delta’s tenacity and battling spirit. Delta announced her departure from Australia on May 18, 2024, saying that she was moving to the United States to pursue her WWE goals.
She said goodbye to her hometown fans on July 6, 2024, at RCW’s “Heavy Is The Crown,” in an emotional last match against her brother, concluding one chapter and beginning another.
Delta attended WWE tryouts in Perth in February 2024, which were held in preparation for Elimination Chamber: Perth. Her outstanding performance got her a contract from the world’s top wrestling organization.
Vignettes began to appear on NXT over the next few months, teasing the entrance of the new powerhouse. Fans learned about her new ring name, Zaria, through a series of mysterious video packages, culminating in her debut at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 27, 2024.
Zaria’s debut was pretty intense. She was seen in the crowd during a tag team bout between Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer against Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Later that night, she made her intentions clear by assaulting Fallon Henley, who had just won the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Zaria’s attack on Henley and her Fatal Influence partners, Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx. that was some debut she made.
