A very dapper John Cena spent his Sunday night with YouTuber Kai Cenat as the pair collaborated for an hourlong stream.
It might be the first and last time the WWE star is invited, though. After losing a game of rock paper scissors, Cena sat in the chair Nicki Minaj used when she streamed with Cenat in 2023. Granted, he wasn’t the first to sully the ornate throne. Needless to say, Cenat was none too pleased.
Anybody who has watched Cena in WWE or on the silver screen knows he can be be a good sport. The 16-time world champion made a seamless transition into Cenat’s unique aesthetic.
Unfortunately for Cena, he was reminded that the internet can giveth and the internet can taketh away. Cenat’s fans discovered something that WWE followers have known for some time.
Cena’s wrestling career is winding down. He announced in July he’s embarking on a retirement tour in 2025 and will walk away when it has concluded. Unlike a lot of retirements in professional wrestling, this one feels legitimate given the 47-year-old’s age and success in Hollywood.
His appearance on Cenat’s stream raises the possibility Cena will continue to pop up in some unexpected places.
