A new report has revealed that WWE creative is interested in a major intergender match between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.
At WWE SummerSlam, Liv Morgan defeated Rhea Ripley to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship thanks to an assist from Dominik Mysterio.
Following the match, “Dirty Dom” confirmed his betrayal of Ripley and aligned with Morgan. Since then, Liv has replaced Rhea in The Judgment Day stable.
The group has been feuding with Ripley in the aftermath with Rhea recently picking up a disqualification win over Morgan at Bad Blood after Raquel Rodriguez returned to align herself with The Judgment Day as well.
On the Backstage Pass Q&A podcast, WrestleVotes reported that a possible Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio match has been discussed by WWE creative. WrestleVotes said:
“I know it’s been brought up. Unfortunately, I don’t know how high it’s made it but there is a real desire on some level of creative to do this match before the angle fizzles out, yes,”
It remains to be seen when the company may potentially hold this matchup at the time of this writing.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on a possible Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio match when they become available.
