Rhea Ripley will challenge reigning champion Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title at Bad Blood 2024. Last week on Monday Night RAW, Mami disclosed that General Manager Adam Pearce had added a massive stipulation to the championship bout. However, it seems the Stamford-based company may have spoiled the result of the upcoming encounter between The Eradicator and The Miracle Kid in Atlanta.
According to the stipulation, during their match at Bad Blood 2024, Dominik Mysterio will be locked inside a shark cage, and the structure will be suspended above the ring. Notably, Dirty Dom has played an important role in Morgan’s title reign thus far.
WWE recently dropped a major tease regarding the future of the Liv Morgan-Rhea Ripley feud
The Sports Entertainment juggernaut recently revealed the first poster for Royal Rumble 2025, which is set to take place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The official poster features Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley side by side, hinting at a potential bout between them at the Rumble 2025. Hence, if there are plans for them to face each other on February 1 next year, then Mami might not win the title at the Atlanta event this weekend.
Rhea Ripley losing at Bad Blood would make more sense for now. If Mami loses the bout, the Triple H-led creative team could book a Women’s WarGames Match between Team Ripley and Team Morgan at Survivor Series 2024.
The WarGames Match could lead to a final encounter between Rhea Ripley and The Judgment Day member at Royal Rumble 2025.
Liv Morgan seemingly dropped a hint about her next opponent after Bad Blood 2024
In the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, The Judgment Day picked a win over LWO. After winning the bout, the heel faction cut a promo during which Liv Morgan seemingly hinted at her next opponent.
“I’m gonna prove that I’m a home-wrecking, man-stealing, heart-breaking, title-taking, greatest women’s champion of all time,” Liv Morgan said.
This is exactly how Ric Flair used to cut his promo. This could be a hint at Morgan’s potential feud with The Queen Charlotte Flair, who could return soon after an injury-related hiatus. Hence, there seems to be an indication that the Liv-Rhea saga may reach its climax this weekend.
Finn Balor has hinted at a twist at Bad Blood 2024
Last night on RAW, Finn Balor initially informed Dominik Mysterio that he would be late for the show due to travel issues. Surprisingly, he interfered during the match between The Judgment Day and LWO, enabling the heel faction to steal a victory.
Following this, Liv and Co. gave a backstage interview to Cathy Kelley. During the segment, Finn sent a warning to his Bad Blood opponent Damian Priest, as he teased changes to the faction at the upcoming event.
”What do you think of this? The Judgment Day changes, and best friends become strangers. Because at Bad Blood, I’m gonna show the world, and I’m gonna show Damian Priest that he is gonna regret the day he ever trusted Finn Balor. That’s it, amigo!” he said.
It’s possible that a female star such as Raquel Rodriguez could turn up at Bad Blood and cost Rhea Ripley the Women’s World Title match against The Miracle Kid. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds this weekend.
