The WWE has wasted no time. Following Friday night’s explosive Smackdown episode that saw Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan and others from the red brand show up, there will be fireworks on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The pending Crown Jewel PLE will have the primary title holders from both the men’s and women’s divisions square off for promotion supremacy.
Cody Rhodes and Gunther will face off for the newly created men’s belt, while Liv Morgan will take on Nia Jax. The buildup for the latter began on Smackdown, and Monday will have Rhodes and Gunther facing off to build steam towards that matchup.
But the women aren’t waiting to get going, as Smackdown had Raquel Rodriguez, who interfered on behalf of Morgan to help her retain her belt against Ripley at Bad Blood, join her in trolling Jax and her sidekick Tiffany Stratton. That’s led to the Monday’s promo work which will lead to a Ripley-Stratton tag up against Morgan and Rodriguez.
What else is in store?

Rhea Ripley Promo
Fresh off the Smackdown rumble, Ripley demands Morgan and Rodriguez to the ring off rip. Instead it’s Tiffy Time, providing a warning for Ripley to stay out of Nia Jax’s way. Their confrontation allowed Morgan and Rodriguez to sneak in behind them and attack, giving out the beatdown. It included a great kick by Rodriguez and a briefcase to Stratton’s back by Morgan.
This set up Adam Pierce okaying the tag match.
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill vs Damage CTRL
Sky and Sane using the coordinated attack. Belair with a nice spear. Sane escapes a slam into a sleeper hold. Cargill catches Sane off the ropes into a great backbreaker. Powerbomb almost gets the pin but Sky breaks it up. Missed combo slam Sky lands a missle drop kick and then an elevated elbow drop almost pins Belair. Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend interfere, first leading to a moonsault onto Belair and Cargill, then they attack Sky. That leads to a KOD by Belair and the pin.
Belair, Cargill win by pinfall.
Alpha Academy vs The War Raiders
Otis is back! And sporting a Free Otis t-shirt no less. The mystery tem is Ivar and Erik the Viking Raiders, err the War Raiders. The way they’re treating Tozawa as a rag doll should be a charge. Otis saves the pin, but gets a super kick to the face. The coordinated combination moves throughout the match were outrageously good, including the final blow where Erik held Tozawa up while Ivar climbed to the top turnbuckle. Erik threw him in the air and Ivar caught him in a slam on his way down in a move dubbed The Fallout.
War Raiders win by pinfall.
Cody Rhodes Promo
Rhodes throws love to the city of St. Louis before Gunther comes out. The Ring General lauds praise to Rhodes and then tells him his only issue is that he’s friends with everyone which means he’s friends with no one. Rhodes reminds him that every time Gunther meets up with adversity, he gets nervous. Then something glitched in the pre-recorded promo, perhaps a bad edit, but Rhodes dropped the mic, the crowd noise got loud and the two shook hands before departing.
Kofi Kingston vs Bron Breakker
Honestly not too impressive of a match by Breakker. There were several slight botches and bad executions before the Breakker spear ends the match.
Breakker wins by pinfall.
Breakker wants to punish Kingston, but Woods races in to stop the attack. But for some reason, he turns his back allowing Breakker to sneak attack him. Lining him up for a spear, he’s interrupted by Jey Uso racing to the ring who lands a SuperKick and an Uso Spear to clear the ring.
Jimmy and Jey Uso
After the confrontation, Jey Uso is walking the halls, and goes into Adam Pearce’s office and his brother is waiting for him to likely tries to convince him to return to Smackdown and join he and Roman Reigns vs The New Bloodline. He walks out on him, twice.
R-Truth vs The Miz
Truth is a ton of fun for the crowd, but when Final Testament comes out to the ring to support Miz, Truth takes the opportunity to roll up The Miz for the three-count.
R-Truth wins by pinfall.
The Authors of Pain throw Truth back into the ring so Miz can land his finisher and though there was the screen glitch, there was no Wyatt 6 appearance… yet.
Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton vs Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez
A ton of momentum on the champion side earl as Stratton was getting whooped by both Morgan and Rodriguez. Riley finally turns the tide and there’s good back and forth. After Stratton misses a moonsault, out comes Nia Jax to attack Ripley after Friday’s superkick and that causes a DQ.
That’s when the real action starts as Ripley is about to body slam Jax when Morgan takes out her knee. Jax ends up wiping out Morgan with a series of moves, ending with an Annihilator. Everyone is screaming for Stratton to cash but by the time she gets her act together, Dom Mysterio races to the ring to drag Morgan out and save her.
