Today’s edition is stacked with some huge rumors involving Roman Reigns. Meanwhile, we have a couple of Sportskeeda exclusives as well, with stories featuring Becky Lynch and Jimmy Uso. So, let’s get into today’s roundup!

#1. The Bad Blood main event

There has been much speculation on which match would main event this Saturday’s Bad Blood premium live event. It now seems certain that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ tag team match against The Bloodline will headline the show, following reports from Sean Ross Sapp and PWInsider.

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are reportedly set to open Bad Blood with their Hell in a Cell Match. The rest of the card will likely see Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley in the co-main event spot, with Finn Balor and Damian Priest’s grudge match right before it.

#2. A real-life Bloodline member is interested in teaming with Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso is currently out injured, with his last WWE appearance coming nearly six months ago. While his return is not set in stone, one of his cousins has spoken about potentially becoming his new tag team partner.

Afa Anoa’i Jr. (aka Manu in WWE) is open to returning to the company alongside Uso. He spoke about it on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Enter The Bloodline:

“I’d love to tag Jimmy along. Let’s do it. Shoot, count me in. I’d be down, you know? Waiting for the phone to ring, I guess,” Afa Jr. said. [51:54 – 52:01]

Manu was last seen in WWE over 15 years ago. He was part of Randy Orton’s Legacy stable alongside Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr., before getting kicked out by The Viper.

#3. Becky Lynch’s WWE status

It has been over four months since Becky Lynch was last seen in WWE. The Man’s contract has since expired, but that has not affected her status. On WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC revealed that Lynch has always remained on the company’s internal roster sheet despite technically being a free agent.

This likely means that Becky Lynch and WWE have a handshake deal amid her hiatus. They may come to terms on a new deal once the seven-time Women’s Champion is ready to return to the ring. It remains to be seen when that is.

#4. Update on WWE’s plans for Roman Reigns vs. The Rock

Amid rumblings of The Rock’s return at Bad Blood, many have been wondering who he will face in his next match. While The Final Boss could face Roman Reigns now that he’s a babyface, it seems like the company won’t be rushing their feud.

According to Xero News, The Rock’s next feud will be with Cody Rhodes. That may explain what the Hollywood megastar could do at Bad Blood, if his music does indeed hit. It seems like the storyline has been in the works since the night after WrestleMania 40, which saw The Final Boss confront The American Nightmare.

It remains to be seen what Roman Reigns’ plans for WrestleMania 41 are. However, they likely won’t revolve around The Rock. The two cousins might end up facing each other at The Show of Shows the following year, if not at a premium live event later in 2025.
